About Me
Hi there!
My name is Draven, and I'm here to share my personal journey with you. I went from having a normally functioning body to advanced-level diabetes and then fought my way back to prediabetes and a healthy, normal life. Over the years, I've navigated numerous obstacles, from dietary changes to lifestyle adjustments. I've tried various strategies, some of which failed, but many that succeeded in restoring my health. Today, I am happy to share the knowledge and insights I've gained through my personal experience in health management.
My Mission
I started this blog with the mission to educate, inspire, and support others on their journey to prevent and reverse type 2 diabetes. Here, you'll find:
Practical tips
Personal story
Evidence-based strategies that have worked for me and many others I’ve met along the way
My goal is to create a supportive community where we can learn from each other and achieve better results together, with a strong focus on preventing diabetes from happening in the first place.
Eye-Opening Realization
The alarming and eye-opening moment for me wasn't so much having diabetes myself, but realizing that in the 1950s, less than 0.5% of the population had diabetes, and now almost 11% do. All that change occurred in just over 50 years. How? I did a lot of research on that and decided to write a blog offering essential information about diabetes.
